Small Groups

Many folk at YPC will tell you that one of the most meaningful aspects of their faith journey is their membership in a small group.

Small Groups are the place where faith and life intersect. Yes, worship is critical and Sunday school is a place to learn about God, but it's in the context of a small group that we have space to talk about how our faith applies to life beyond our church building. It is here that we share our stories, big and small, ask our burning questions, and support one another.

If you have never been in Small Group, now is your chance to try one! Most of our current groups are open, you can join at any time. Please contact Pastor Matt or Pastor Lauren if you are interested in a specific group or want to discuss which group might fit you best.

Adult Groups

We gather using Lectio Divina, an ancient way of praying the scriptures. Join us for a time of reflection, prayer and conversation.

We gather to discuss ways to move our faith into action to help marginalized people. Including issues about immigrants, race, sex trafficking and LGBTQIA.
Women's Groups

Our lessons together include a study guide and a DVD component shared at our gatherings. We read and discuss a book written by a Christian author in the summer.

Join us online, reading chronologically through the Bible, using The Bible app and The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble plan and podcast.

Men's Groups

We will resume once social distancing guidelines make it easier to eat together

This small group is focused for men looking to expand their faith. The group’s mission is to seek personal spiritual development, biblical knowledge and group community.
